Concordia Mission
At Concordia Lutheran Schools of Omaha, we prepare faith secure, world ready, kingdom leaders.
A Letter from the CEO
We prepare faith secure, world ready, kingdom leaders.
Those words define our purpose and remind us daily of the responsibility God has entrusted to us.
Every decision we make, every relationship we build, and every opportunity we embrace begins with one truth: God has entrusted us with children, families, and a ministry that shapes lives for eternity. That truth guides how we teach, lead, serve, and faithfully steward every resource He has placed in our care.
Because of that calling, we relentlessly pursue excellence, not to earn God’s favor or gain recognition, but because we do not serve a mediocre God. This calling deserves our very best.
At Concordia, we provide an exceptional education rooted in God’s Word while helping students discover who they are in Christ, grow in wisdom and character, and use the gifts God has given them to serve others.
It is a privilege to serve the students, families, faculty, staff, churches, alumni, donors, and friends who together make up the Concordia community. Whether you are exploring Concordia for the first time or have been part of this ministry for generations, thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. I hope you see not only what we do, but why we do it. It would be our privilege to partner with your family as together we prepare faith secure, world ready, kingdom leaders.
Congregations
Member congregations of Concordia Lutheran Schools of Omaha support the mission of Christian education through their prayers, financial support, promotion of the schools, and volunteer involvement. Seventeen congregations belong to the association. Each congregation is represented by delegates who have a voice in the Delegate Assembly, which approves the annual budget and elects the Board of Directors. Pastors of the association churches also participate through a Pastoral Advisory Committee.
Most member congregations provide financial support to their member families who enroll their children in the schools by helping with tuition costs. Support typically ranges from $500 to $1,000 per student.
While the current membership of the association is made up of congregations affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), non-LCMS churches may be admitted as associate member congregations. Such congregations may be represented by voting delegates in the Delegate Assembly.
