Middle School

Welcome To Concordia Middle School!

At Concordia Middle School, your child will be known, loved, and equipped to confidently transition from elementary school while building the skills, character, and faith foundation they need to thrive in high school and beyond.

Our foundation is rooted in God’s Word. Students engage in daily Bible class and weekly chapel, learning how Scripture shapes how we treat others and live with purpose. We are a faith-fueled community, worshiping, praying, and serving together through Life Groups and service projects that build meaningful connections.

We believe each student is unique, and we provide a wide range of core academics, electives, athletics, and activities to help them maximize their God-given gifts with confidence and purpose. Our focus on academic excellence nurtures students to develop strong study habits, responsibility, and self-advocacy—skills essential for high school success.

Meaningful relationships are central to our mission. Our staff cares deeply for students—not just as learners, but even more importantly, as individuals created and loved by God. We walk with them through the ups and downs of middle school, guiding them in Christ-centered friendships, conflict resolution, and restoration. We also encourage students to embrace challenges with resilience, knowing that growth often comes through perseverance.

Middle school is a time of incredible growth—academically, socially, and spiritually. At Concordia Middle School, we approach these formative years with intentionality. We are honored to partner with you in guiding your child along the way to thrive in the years ahead.

Living Out Our Core Values at Concordia Middle School

Deep Roots in God’s Word
“Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” – Romans 10:17
At Concordia Middle School, students are grounded daily in God’s Word through the daily study of God’s Word. Each week, the entire student body gathers for chapel, where the truth of Scripture is proclaimed and applied to students’ lives. God’s Word is not just a subject—it is the lens through which we teach respect, compassion, and integrity. It shapes how we treat one another and how we walk through life together.

Faith-Fueled Community
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” – Matthew 18:20
Our middle school community is built on shared faith. Students and staff pray together, worship together, and grow in Christ together. Through Life Groups—small, consistent groups where students pray for and encourage one another—and through service projects that bless our local community, students experience the power of a Christ-centered, supportive environment that values belonging and care.

Maximizing God’s Gifts
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10
At Concordia, middle schoolers are encouraged to discover and develop the unique gifts God has placed within them. From core academics to a wide range of electives, students are given room to explore their passions. Leadership, creativity, and teamwork are cultivated through clubs, extracurriculars, and sports—all designed to help students excel and honor God with their abilities.

Academic Excellence
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” – Colossians 3:23
We believe academic excellence is a way to glorify God. Our middle school program is thoughtfully designed to prepare students for high school and beyond, gradually building independence, responsibility, and critical thinking. Students are challenged to grow in and out of the classroom—learning to self-advocate, manage their workload, collaborate with peers, and meet high expectations in a supportive environment.

Meaningful Relationships
“Love one another as I have loved you.” – John 15:12
Middle school is a season of deep relational learning. At Concordia, our staff sees each student not just as a learner, but as a child of God with unique strengths, challenges, and God-given potential. We walk alongside students as they navigate friendships, helping them develop healthy communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills. In partnership with families, we guide students in how to love and forgive as Christ has modeled for us.

Embracing Challenges
“Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” – James 1:2-3
The middle school years are full of transition and growth. At Concordia, we intentionally help students navigate challenges like time management, increasing independence, and balancing school, faith, and extracurriculars. Students are given more ownership of their learning and decision-making. When they stumble, we support them with grace—teaching them resilience and confidence for the road ahead.
